Policy rules
The Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) lays down in the policy rules how it uses its discretion to define policy. The policy rules cover, for example, standards, arithmetic values, procedures, facts and circumstances, instructions, conditions and restrictions, rate categories, and performance descriptions.
The policy rules are determined on the basis of the Healthcare Market Regulation Act and the Interim Ambulance Care Act.
