Ambulance care
Ambulance care is emergency care for patients, for example because they have had an accident or have suddenly become seriously ill. Urgent ambulance care also involves the possible transport of the patient to a hospital, for instance.
In addition, ambulance care includes scheduled care and transporting to or from hospital people who cannot get there themselves and need care during transport.
In any event, the aim of ambulance care is to avoid or limit damage to a patient’s health.
