Rapid responder
The rapid responder is an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) who acts completely independently at the scene. If necessary, and certainly if the patient needs to be transported, the call-out of the rapid responder is followed by an ambulance call-out. The rapid responder is a healthcare professional and is functionally attached to the RAV.
